Kal graduated from the University of Manitoba in 1994 and has been an important part of the team at Sunridge Dental Clinic since 1998. She is our Hygiene Coordinator and takes great pride in leading our amazing Hygiene team! Her main goal within the hygiene department is that every patient leaves the office educated and in better dental health. Her focus to detail and patient comfort are two of her best attributes.
In her personal life she loves spending time with her husband and two children and enjoying life to the fullest. The dedication Kal has towards her family and her career shows in how she balances equality with both and still remains up-to-date as a hygienist by taking continuing education courses on a regular basis. Kal is irreplaceable.
Jessica comes from Edmonton where she attended University followed by further schooling in Toronto. Her gentle hand and ability to make patients feel comfortable in the dental chair is one of Jessica's best attributes! Jessica enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and son.
Jennifer was born and raised in Calgary. She studied the sciences at Mount Royal University before heading off to Toronto where she obtained an education in dental hygiene. Her optimism helps motivate patients to become more involved with their oral health. In her spare time Jenn enjoys playing video games and photography.
After graduating with a B.A. in Economics, Rose worked for one year in finance but decided to change her career path and pursue a career in health science. Going into her second degree she shadowed a hygienist and discovered that this career is for her. Since then Rose worked in Toronto for a few months before moving to Vancouver for three years and has been in Calgary now since 2010. Her passion is her work and she loves helping her patients reach overall healthy gums and teeth.
Ana-Maria was born in Eastern Europe, moved to Canada in 2001 and since then she has already lived in three provinces – Ontario, Québec and Alberta. Ana-Maria studied business management at the University of Toronto but found her passion to be in the healthcare field, attending dental hygiene school in Montréal. Ana-Maria loves educating patients about the importance of their oral and systemic health. Ana-Maria can speak English, French and Romania and she is trying to learn Italian as well. On her free time she enjoys taking her two dogs – Berri and Napoléon – for walks.
